John Maxwell says, "You are most valuable where you add the most value.  It's vital to your success that you discover that narrow area of responsibility where you add the most value - and stay there".

James in his letter says that Elijah was an ordinary man just like us.  We have seen how God used him.

The church has many ministries that depend solely on people just like us to volunteer, so that others might benefit. What gifts and talents do we have that could be used by the Lord in His service to facilitate these ministries? 

Remember all those you see around you involved in different areas within the church are people just like you, who at some point saw how they could help.
